Their website let me preview what I wanted and get a quote. I drove in--Valentina welcomed me and made everything super easy and pleasant. Excellent service

The service went very well. I had a brake job done in Jan. A few days ago I noticed the rear brake broke. I dropped the off Sunday night and it was fixed Monday with out charge, Brian called me at 10am to say it was fixed and explained what happened. I rate the service as excellent.

Ask for Herman!

If you don't like wasting time and don't want to hear all the sales-man ship pitches that normally come with car buying, talk to Herman. He is honest and won't waste your time. Great Experience at Premier Subaru

I have just purchased an Subaru Legacy limited, which I love, and I also enjoyed the buying experience. I emailed ahead to arrange for a test drive and Rita set it up the appointment time. From the start, she was very nice and helpful. Herman Winston was the sales person, he was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and very honest. He explained how everything worked, and allowed me to drive at my leasure. He was patient and did not rush me into making a decision. He was not pushy like some other car sales reps I dealt with in the past. It was a first for me! This was the first time I have bought a vehicle from a dealership and I am very pleased with the service I was provided. Herman was excellent at helping me find exactly what I wanted and without pressure or stress. Herman walked me through the steps and explained everything along the way. He made sure I was completely comfortable and happy with everything moving foward. The car needed a new bearing for a rear wheel. One was replaced but there was still a sound coming from the rear so Herman had the mechanics change the other bearing on opposite side to make sure the car was ready for me. He went above expectations to do right by me. I highly recommend this dealership. I had a wonderful experience and got to drive home and amazing car.

Awesome Dealership

Premier Kia of Branford deserve six starts but unfortunately ratings only go to five stars! We did previous research on a car online and met with Colleen to see if it was still available, etc. Colleen was very welcoming. She was courteous and very attentive to our needs. Unfortunately, our chosen vehicle had trouble with it's battery (things happen). However, Colleen did not waste any time to find us other options that fit our needs; she kept in constant contact with us and kept us updated. And because she is an extraordinary sales rep she actually got us our original car we chose. The service staff at Kia of Branford work hard to ensure the safety of the cars and we are confident and very pleased with our new car. We are very glad she worked with us and we highly recommend her to anyone that needs to find a new car! We also worked with Kenny regarding the registration of our new car. He was quick, friendly, and very professional.  The overall showroom of the dealership deserves five starts itself. It was clean and welcoming. I've heard great things about Premier Subaru for awhile, so when I was ready to buy my own Subaru Outback, I headed there. Valentina was friendly and helpful and showed me cars in my budget range (other dealers I visited in the past tried to talk me into cars I couldn't afford and/or didn't want). She was Very Knowledgeable and showed me all of the features of the various cars. She did not pressure me at all! Once I made my selection she was super efficient and helped make buying a car super easy and fun!  Here's the email I had to send her: Valentina, I am SO excited about my beautiful new Subaru Outback!!! Gary was wonderful and very accommodating. He was able to get me scheduled on a Saturday morning at 8:00 am after I had given him very short notice about an issue I was having with my car. This was my first new car purchase. The sales man, Alex, was so great. He made me feel calm and was attentive and very reasonable. He made me feel like I was visiting with a friend instead of buying a car. He made the process fun and did his best to get me a great deal. I am in love with this car.

I previously drove a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer until I was struck by someone with no driver's license, and no current insurance card. My car was totaled. I was horribly upset. Thankfully, my insurance company ended up giving me more money for my car than I thought they were going to. I knew I wanted a Subaru because I needed the all-wheel drive. I searched online and then I came across a 2014 Subaru Legacy Premium for $12,900. The car had 98,000 miles, it was previously the executive car for a pharmaceutical company, all highway miles. The car is in beautiful condition, it rides incredibly smooth, and I didn't know where I would possibly find another 2014 Subaru in such condition for this cheap. I was helped by Ted my initial visit, and he made me aware that he was not be able to be there the day I picked the car up and worked something out with a gentleman named Rodney to help me the day I picked it up. Ted and Rodney were both very nice. After all the financials were taken care of I then helped by a gentleman named Herman. Herman came outside and helped me get rid of all the previous bluetooth setups and helped me set up my bluetooth to the car. I've never had the feature before, what a great feature. Herman also made me aware of all of the other great features of the car and how to use each of them. Herman was an extremely nice guy and extremely knowledgeable. He even recommended a restaurant down the road that my family and I checked out afterwards that was DELICIOUS. Herman also took me for a ride down the road and filled up my gas tank, and we had a nice conversation in the car. The man is incredibly down to earth and very easy to connect with. Long story short: Herman is the man, I love my car, and I would definitely recommend Premier Subaru in the future!

A competitor dealership showed me no respect as a buyer earlier in the day. Frustrated, I left and went to Premier Subaru. My experience there was nothing short of exceptional. The only time I shopped for a car and actually liked it!

I hate car shopping. I hate the constant back and forth over a few dollars here and there. The 20 minutes it takes each time for the sales rep to go to the manager. I hate the sales people fawning over me. When my husband said lets take an hour drive on a weekend to go look at a car. I was looking forward to a horrible time. Well, it wasn't. The pricing was fair. It was posted. Nathan was a nice salesman who answered our questions and not once did it take 20 min to go back and forth. We were there for a short amount of time and left with a fully registered and insured car. Nathan even followed up and got us the missing spare key a week later. I will only shop at this dealership in the future. So the next time my husband says "do you want to go look at a car" ? Best place to buy a car!!

I bought a Subaru Outback in 2005 from Premiere. My first experience with Subaru and with Premiere Subaru. Everyone from the person that answers the phone to sales & service were helpful, knowledgeable, understanding and fun. Unfortunately my 2005 was in a crash and was declared a total loss. So back to Premiere we went and purchased a Certified Used 2015 Subaru Outback. This time the experience was even better! Adam was our sales guru who took us through every aspect of a very different Outback then we were used to. Answered every question and then some. He is relaxed, personable and really cares. Next was the finance wizard Bob. Never had such an informative, interesting, and humorous meeting with any finance person EVER. I feel lucky to have such an outstanding dealership so close by. It feels like one big family there and I was made to feel a part of it. LOVE my new Outback, LOVE Premiere Subaru!!

My service rep did and outstanding job explaining how tire ware is determined. I originally had intended to install the cross bars on top of my Forester without realizing how costly they were. My sales rep when out of way to explain the difference between the round style verse's the flat design. Its actually fun to sit in the waiting room and discuss the benefits of the different models. One owner had driven up from Fa. for service on his cat-converter. I asked if he would return when the time comes to purchase a new one, it was a definite YES. He is really in favor with the way Premier is run, if compared to the dealer in Fa. it is not even close. It is really something to be proud of to have an old customer travel all that way for his next Subaru.

All Around Excellent Experience @ Premier

My fiancee bought a Subaru Impreza two years ago and had a good experience with Premier, so I decided to check them out myself when I was ready to buy my first car. With recovering credit, I was worried that I would be ripped off at any dealership. That was not at all the case at Premier. First, Jason Jarkes was patient, answering all of my questions (and I had many) about the process and the cars I was interested in. I was treated with kindness, respect, and care, and left with exactly the car I wanted.Secondly, Rob handled everything on the financial side-- finding the bank, processing out of state registration, and even assisting with insurance when I was getting crazy quotes of over $800. Excellent experience

WE first met Jason Jarkes who sat down with us and discussed our needs and desires in purchasing a new car. He showed us and explained the forester and outback side by side (inside and out). We went over what options and accessories were available and went home to think it over. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and friendly. There was no pressure. Once we decided exactly how we wanted our new outback configured, we called Jason and discussed all in detail including monies involved. They had to look for our car and Jason kept us informed of his search. It was still being built and so once we agreed on a price ( he and the general manager - David Taylor - worked together to negotiate an equitable number), we put down a deposit. We kept in touch via phone and email and once the car was delivered< Jason set up a convenient appointment for us to pick up the car and spent all the time needed to go over everything in detail. We were very happy and satisfied with the entire process. Rodney Pomerleau handled the financial aspects (including any additional warranty and care options) and explained all thoroughly. Again a pleasant experience. The entire process went without a hitch and Jason made us very welcome initially and for the future.

Wonderful Experience!!

This is the first Kia I have purchased. Two close friends have bought Kias in the past year. I was so impressed by their raves of each of their cars, The insides were so classy, the outsides beautiful, I could go on and on. They both purchased sedans though I was looking for more the SUV experience. I decided I think I will go to a Kia and see what they have to offer. I originally went to another Kia dealership prior and just did not feel the staff as helpful and caring for your needs. I definately had decided that I was interested in the Kia Sportage. I decided to not give up as I really liked the Kias, I would try Premier Kia. I must tell you it was the BEST experience! I am the owner of a Sportage EX. I have been driving it for three months now and it is simply a wonderful car. It drives smoothly, has a kick, roomy, comfortable. I would highly recommend this vehicle for someone looking for the smaller version of the SUV. Though it is hard to say smaller as it has so much room inside in comparison to other cars the same size. Kia did a great job designing this car. I must not end this review without giving comment to the staff, first I want to mention Nathan. I worked with Nathan right from the start. He approached us with a friendly smile. He listened to my needs and found just the right car for me. He worked really hard on my behalf for the best deal for my financial needs while addressing my wants. Nathan was simply wonderful. I must also give praise to both Patrick and Kenny. They were all apart of making my experience wonderful and working hard for me the customer to see that everything works out for my needs. And yet one more thing, Nathan went out of his way to get me an auto book to go with my car which had been missing. He researched it, bought it and mailed it to me! I am so happy!! I trust Premier

Came in for a simple heat shield tighten and the service department said that my steering rod on the drivers side was not safe due to prior machanic tampering with them to make them align correct. Kudos to your service dept.

I bought my Subaru at Bertera in Hartford & Ihave had my car serviced there. I wasn't happy there & decided to tryPremier. I had the 30,000 mile service done & had my car detailed while itwas there. If I had to rate my experience on a scale from 1-10, I woulddefinitely say a 10. Making my appointment was easy, I was given a loaner, theservice was $100 cheaper, & the detailing came out amazing. I have a GolenRetriever & a Labrador & I live near the water. My car was a totalmess. So much so, they couldn't finish it in one day. It looks brand new now.The biggest compliment has to go to the guy at the counter. I think his namewas Brian. I didn't know what to expect going in to pick it up, but he waswonderful. He alone would have sold me on the dealership. Very personable, veryfriendly, & explained everything. My husband even agreed which is shocking.Good customer service is so hard to find. Great customer service is almostnever found anymore. Kudos to your service dept. & thank you for a greatexperience. I will definitely be back for service & when I'm ready for mynext car.

Went to PremierSubaru on Black Friday to see what type of used Legacy Inventory they had onsite. Found a 2015 Subaru Legacy in Excellent condition. Went into the showroom where I was greeted by Adam Arsenault. We spoke about a couple ofdifferent Legacies that were in the parking lot and went on a test drive. First Time Buyer

This was my firsttime purchasing a brand new vehicle and overall I have no complaints. Thesalesperson, Helena, was very friendly and did not place a too much pressure on me to make quick decisions and she was knowledgeable about the vehicle.


I was impressed with the follow through after the sale. The management appearto genuinely want to help their customers with quick answers to vehiclequestions. An example of this was the recent 'new owners clinic' that they heldto help buyers familiarize themselves with dealership staff and answerquestions that you might have had since purchasing the vehicle. When I had toleave the clinic early, Kayli followed through with a follow up email, whichwas just another example of the staff not losing sight of the customer concernsand questions.

"Tell it to Bob"

I want to complimentyour whole staff for responding so quickly to my call 2 days ago. I had hit aconstruction cone and loosened a part of the air flap. They were able tosqueeze me in for an appointment today. I called enroute because traffic wasgoing to delay my arrival. They said to come ahead anyway. A technician greetedme and said he was going to do the multi-poinr inspection, even though therepair job was minimal. Gary greeted me by name. All of us in the waiting roomchatted amicably during our wait. Barb, from the sales division, joined us. Itwas like a party in there! (Thanks for the coffee AND the cookie!) When the jobon my car was done, I was told there would be no charge! because I am a goodcustomer. As I left, I asked another technician how to remove the black smudgeson my front bumper. The dealership didnot try to upsell us or change the deal when we came in to sign and drive. Theydid as much as we could together on-line with me in advance of picking up thecar...I practically bought the car on-line. Kimberly Seabrook arranged thingsmagnificently. Cynthia "Cyndi" Carasone implemented what Kim set up,and Kenny Schmitz found the best financing for us. Everyone was completelyorganized at all times, and no one pressured us. If we had come in and didn'tlike something about the vehicle, they would have worked with us to find the rightcar in lieu (but that didn't have to happen, the car was fine). Kenny explainedall the perks that went with the warranty and the purchase of a Kia, and it wasoverall good experience. Also, everyone returned my calls and emails fairlypromptly. They made me want to buy another car there! Also, their participationin the Costco program was what got us there to begin with...one price, nodickering, and the price was $1000 less than advertised for that car, which waspre-owned. They are 55 miles from our home, but I will go back for my nextvehicle.

How buying a car should be!

I visited Premier Subaruseveral weeks ago with my old man to see about trading in his Subaru BRZ andgetting him into an Outback or a Forester. For this run we met with TedAstarita. After two test drives and Ted showing us the features in each model,I sided with the Outback. Ted got my father a great trade in and gave him adeal he was completely satisfied with. No aggressive sales nonsense.Weeks later, the Outback was delivered to Premier and we setup a time with Tedto finalize the deal. We then met with Rob Weljkovic who got us through thefinal process easily without any hassle. This is my second time experience with Premier Subaru, and I have been pleasedboth times. My long awaited Outback

It's been 3 yearsthat I've wanted an Outback. I have never heard one negative comment fromanyone that I spoke to that owned one or knew of someone who owned one. This would be oursecond visit to this Premire Subaru in Branford to buy our second car. Bought a Legacy Outback and fell in love with the car. The service department is the best I've ever encountered: friendly, courteous, creative and conscientious. On one occasion I was near the dealer when, as I filled the gas tank, I saw smoke pouring from under the hood. I called Premier and they said to bring it in immediately - no appointment needed - it was a busy day for them and late afternoon. They found a serious, life-threatening problem. Fixed it while I waited. You can't do better than that!

Excellent experience leasing new Subaru Impreza

Our sales person was Helena O'Connell. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very interested in making us happy. She took us on a test drive, explained all of the car's features, and then went out of her way to find the car that fit our needs. The car actually came in 2 weeks early, so that made us very happy. When we showed up to finalize the paper work and pick up the car, Helena was well prepared. After just a few minutes, Helena was showing us the car's features, and answered all of our questions. We also spent a few minutes with Rodney Pomerleau, who was also a pleasure to work with. With the paper work complete and the new plates on the car, we were on our way in our new car. Wow-Fantastic sales staff

Searched long and farfor a specific vehicle at a competitive price. My search ended when I wasfortunate enough to speak with Brian Canell. No-pressure sales experience

Our first experiencewith Premier was positive. Herman Winston listened to our specific needs andanswered all questions about the vehicles we tested with openness anddirectness. His experience in the auto industry helped us with comparisons ofother makes and models. There was no pressuring to 'buy now or miss a greatdeal'. HIs knowledge of Premier's business procedures was not as informative,but sales manager Will Petrillo filled in with prompt and courteous attentionto our questions re delivery dates, accessories, billing, etc. One problemspecific to our situation: we inadvertently left behind a driver's licenseafter closing the deal with a business consultant. After discovering thelicense was missing, thinking we misplaced it, we spent days searching our hometo no avail. When we finally connected it with the purchase and called Premier,they said they indeed had the license and were storing it securely. Animmediate phone call letting us know they had it would have saved us a lot ofanxiety.

Before coming to PremierKia, my wife and me went to the Premier Kia website to look at a couple ofcars. Eventually, we saw a 2009 Nissan Versa that caught our eye - we saw thiscar a few days before. My wife and I went to this dealership knowingwhat we were looking for. We were greeted by a very pleasant sales lady, Sarah,who sat with us and explained all the details and features of the Outback. A happy 2016 WRX owner

My Second Subaru from Premier

This is my secondSubaru, and my second time buying it from Premier. I traded in my 2012 Foresterfor a 2014 Outback (my husband is 6'5" and needed a larger car; in fact, Ijust searched for and found my review posted on 3/1/2013 indicating I'd be backfor an Outback, lol), and my experience was as pleasant and enjoyable thesecond time around as it was the first, if not more! I began my adventureonline with the help of Rita, both times! Scott sold me my Forester, and now isin Service. John was my salesman when buying the Outback, and he kept meapprised and informed every step of the way. My every question and/or concernwas answered, and whatever needed following up was done to my completesatisfaction. I also had the pleasure of meeting Bob Alvine, the president, andeven spoke with him several times as well. I don't recall ever having met theowner of a dealership before; but Bob was a familiar face by the time I droveoff of the lot. That says a lot. Having bought two cars now from Premier, andservicing them at Premier's Branford and Watertown locations, I can say with1,000% certainty that Premier is a cut above the rest. The vehicle speaks foritself, it's a Subaru; the friendly, professional and accommodating employeesof this dealership are what bring me back. As long as I live in Connecticut,with Connecticut's snowy winters, I will own a Subaru. And I will go only toPremier to buy and maintain it.

She'd always get back tome within the hour, if not within 10 minutes with answers to my questions. Car Buying At It's Best

I have not purchaseda vehicle in almost 14 years. My previous car was fortunately very reliable,and I enjoyed very much so, not having a car payment. Great experience

Mark made everythingeasy. From the time we walked in until we picked up our car. He spent over andhour and a half going over all the features of the car with my wife ( the mainuser) to make sure she understood each feature and how to use them. Crosstrek

All and all it was agood experience. Tony Gagnon was a pleasure to deal with and fulfilled all ofour requests. Two areas that need improvement and the reason for the 3 starsbelow are the people who answer the phones and direct call. They continuallyput you through to voice nail even when asked not to. The other area is the carcleaning. My car tires looked like the car had been driven through a mud puddleprior to delivery.

If you're going to Premier Subaru, go see Ted!! I don't write reviews. Ever.But I feel that Ted, my sales person for my 2015 Impreza Limited, is great andjust seems to be a genuinely nice human being. He was extremely knowledgeableand very patient in going over the features and answering my questions. He wentabove and beyond his duties to help me out and he didn't try to upsell me. 1)Took an Uber to the dealership thinking I could take the car home. It was aSunday and the finance and service departments were closed, so I had to pick itup on Monday. He gave me a ride back to New Haven and also picked me up thenext day to pick up my car at the dealership so I didn't have to take a cab. 2)Called him inquiring about Auto Armor since I was worried about salt/elementsdamage during the winter, and I was under the impression that Auto Armor isdesigned for something like that, especially preventing undercarriage rusting.He explained it's designed for paint and interi or protection, but nothing isdone for the undercarriage. He could have easily lied and said I needed theAuto Armor or that it would help. He also explained that Subarus are factorycoated with a treatment that helps prevent rusting, and suggested I choose theundercarriage spray option at the car wash in the winter. I'm from the WestCoast, so I don't know these things. General Manager Rich is very nice andcares about his customers. He makes sure you got everything you need and arecompletely satisfied before you leave. I wanted all-weather floor mats, but theservice department was closed. I didn't want to come back just for floor matssince I have a busy schedule, so he made it happen. He helped me put them in toensure they were a perfect fit. When the ones they had in the building did not fitperfectly (they fit but they have different models that are custom fitted toyour particular car), he sent someone to the storage across the street to getthe right ones. Over all great experience!

I had a great experience and got a great deal atPremier

I had a very positiveexperience at Premier, and got a great deal on a Forester. Adam spent a lot oftime making sure I learned about the car and its features, as well as walkingme through my various options in terms of used vs new, trim levels, equipmentand financing. He's a straightforward professional, as are Will and Rod whohelped to finalize the deal and get all the paperwork done. Premier offered awide selection, competitive prices, a comfortable environment and mostimportantly, a team of professionals who know how to both treat customers withrespect and get the best deal possible. I will be the firstone to say that looking for a new car is time consuming and strenuous. My carrecently got totaled from another driver not paying attention. Now We Know Where to Go!

Herman was a pleasure to work with! I wholeheartedly recommend him.Previously, my boyfriend purchased a Subaru Impreza at another dealership, andto say the least he wasn't at all impressed with his salesperson. So I wentonline to find the best Subaru dealership in our area, and not only was PremierSubaru close by, it had excellent reviews - and there are so many reasons why.Test Drive Day: We stopped in at the dealership on a whim, no appointment (butI suggest an appointment) and I was maybe 70% sure I was going to purchase aSubaru. We did a little research beforehand, and decided that that 2015 Legacywould be a good fit for me. Herman was selected as my salesperson and I have tosay, he was a perfect fit, too! He let me test drive the Legacy at my own pace,gave tons of information on the car, showed us every little nook and cranny.Needless to say, the product is excellent, but sales has a role to play ininspiring customer confidence. Herman had an answer to every question we had,super knowledgeable about the products he sells and with a great sense ofhumor, so that was an excellent sign! I was sold on day one, but admittedly hadchosen a color that was beautiful, but maybe a little too mundane for me.Herman suggested I see the Lapis Blue Pearl in person and even made the extratrip out to show me one at the sister dealership across the street even thoughPremier was close to closing time. Not only did it mean a lot to me, I ended upcompletely changing my mind about the color and going with the Lapis Blue Pearl(if you haven't seen it in person, you must). Long story short, I decided ongetting a 2015 Subary Legacy 2.5i Premium in Lapis Blue Pearl with Warm IvoryCloth interior.Pricing Day: So the next day we came in to negotiate pricing. The dealing wascompletely fair and I feel I got an excellent price for all the features I waslooking for. You're just not going to find an AWD with all these bells andwhistles at a better price. Do your research beforehand, make sure you have anidea of what you want to spend - I recommend Consumer Reports.The in-between: I'm so impatient! Haha, with a new/customized Subaru, you mustknow you will have a wait, as these cars are in heavy demand. My car had a3-week turnover, and I did call and harass a few times, but Herman and Willwere helpful and took the extra time to make sure my order was just rightbefore I arrived.Pickup Day: At this point, I had already sold my trade-in to the original Hondadealership where I bought it, so that was all set. We had a few speed bumpswith my insurance company sending through incomplete paperwork, but in the endit all worked out. Not at all a bad reflection on the dealership. Actually,Herman had the patience of a saint with all of this, haha. I got my brand newbaby in perfect condition. Finance went through everything slowly and carefullywith me, which was great. The icing on the cake, though, was the extra careHerman put into showing us every last darned feature of the car. He even syncedmy phone through the Bluetooth for me. Even my boyfriend was super impressedwith the extra care Herman put into showing us every last feature. Awesomestuff, a day that started out filled with anxiety due to the insurance stuffended in success.This car is gorgeous, it drives like a dream, I have so much control over everylittle feature, the entertainment system is a joy to use, and just overall Ithink there's no getting better for your money. This car definitely attractsthe best kind of attention because there's just about nothing anyone can saythat's bad about it (did I mention it's gorgeous?). Like I said, the product isgreat, but Sales is what really makes a product special for the consumer.Herman is a huge asset to Premier Subaru, his friendly personality makes youfeel like you've become part of the Subaru family. I wouldn't hesitate for amoment to come back to Premier Subaru for my next purchase; I highly recommend!

Outstanding Experience

It was not ourintention to buy a Subaru Legacy that day, just test drive it. We planned tovisit 3 Subaru dealers to compare prices, but it just so happened that we wereattending a Memorial Day party in Branford that day, so Premier Subaru wasgoing to be our first stop. Dear Mr. Alvine, Ijust wanted to take a moment to express my most sincere thanks for absolutelyeverything that I have experienced at your Premier Subaru Branford location. Itall started back in December a little more than a week before Christmas, when Iwas driving home one night after work and I was forced off the road by anothercar and slammed head on into a tree. Thankfully, other than the usual soreness,I was fine, but after speaking with me insurance agent, he suggested that,until someone could physically go look at my car and appraise it, it soundedlike a total loss and would be a good idea for me to start looking into thepurchase of a new car. I actually started my search with another Subarudealership, and I was very upfront and honest and told them that I was justthere to LOOK and get ideas and possibly place a hold on a new car, as I stillhad not received word on the potential total loss of my other car. To make along story short, I was extremely disappointed in my experience with this dealership,asking me what they could do to get me in the car that day, what my perfectprice was, and badgering me for a down payment after I stressed the fact that Iwas just looking and could not physically buy a car that day. The sales personeven went to the extreme of bringing his manager out to push me into taking thecar home that night as well. They were pushy as pushy can possibly be. Thisexperience led me to Premier Subaru Branford one Sunday morning, whereimmediately after walking in the door, I was greeted with smiling faces, andtold that a sales person would be with me shortly, as I literally walked in asthe dealership opened it's doors. Ted was my salesperson, and I explained thesame situation to him as I did the other dealer, and he showed true compassionfor my situation and was not at all discouraged by the fact that I was therethat day to just look. Ted ended up spending probably about 90% of his Sundayworking with just me, even though there was the possibility that I may not begetting a new car. He went over the 2015 Legacy with me with a fine toothedcomb, from bumper to bumper, not letting one detail slip. He truly knows theproduct he sells, and it's obvious he has passion for the Subaru brand. I endedup leaving a deposit on that Legacy that day, because it had every option thatI wanted in the car. They held that car for me until I received word from myinsurance company that my car was a total loss. I picked up my 2015 Legacy 3.6Ron New Year's Eve, and I could not be more madly in love with my car. Even moreso, I could not be happier with the continued experiences that I have at yourdealer when bringing my car for service. Everyone in your service department isequally as friendly and accommodating, and I believe her name is Barbara, whowent to the extreme length of going to a local bakery for myself and othercustomers waiting for service, where she bought us amazing pastries. I trulycouldn't have picked a better car dealership than your Branford Subarulocation. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for having such an amazing workteam. Service and attentiondoesn't get better

Although I moved fromNorwalk CT to Massachusetts last fall, I still rely on Branford Subaru to takecare of my Forester. Just recently, my tire blew out on I95 in Saybrooksomewhere, I called Scott to apprise him of my situation, was told to come inand would be taken care of maybe even given a loaner so I could make myappointment in New Haven, I had AAA tow me to Branford. Scott was expecting me,had (I forget -his-name) drive me into New Haven, I was only a few minutes lateto my appointment, later received a call that my car was ready with a new tire,I forget-his-name came to pick me up, drove back to Branford, I spoke withScott and Andy, was assured that my Forester was ok, paid my bill, drove off inmy good ole Forester. Service and attention doesn't get better than that.Service like that is therapeutic especially you're a 81 year old nervous wreck.Thank you, Scott, Andy, Gary -- all at Subaru Branford.

a trip from NY for a new subaru

Bought used Hyundai Accent 2012

First time buying a car on my own!!! Bought my car from them right beforethe new year. They were 50 miles away from me, but had the best pricing andseemed to be a legit dealer with good reviews. I went in and got great servicefrom nice guys who were just being upfront and honest. I knew the price wasgreat for the car, so I didn't haggle. There were issues with my insurancequotes, etc, that took a couple hours to figure out, they were patient, buteverything worked out and I drove off the lot, even after I had to smoke a fewcigarettes to decide if I should even be buying a car. Kenny and I maybe Mike I forget his name were great and patient and didn't pressure me.My worse fear was buying a used car in the first place with only a few thousandmile warranty. That is why I am waiting 5 months to write this review. The carhas been great and doesn't seem to have any issues. I would go back hereanytime as they are fair and easy to work with!

Clean ( I keep a car for at least 7 years).
Dark exterior color.

Found plenty of Legacy's with what I wanted except for having "Warm Ivory " i.e. beige seats.
Salesman Mark Gennette went beyond the call and engineered a deal to put custom black leather seats in a low mileage Crystal Black Silica Legacy.
Sales Manager Will Petrillo negotiated the sale of my trade and purchase of the car. He was firm but fair.
Business Manager Jeff Irzyk discussed all financial decisions and warranty options with us and completed the paperwork flawlessly. He made the process easy and stress free.

My Best New Car Experience Ever!


My wife and I were in the market for a new car and decided we would check out Premier Subaru which was highly recommended by two dear friends. We didn't know much about the brand and had some concerns as this would be our very first Subaru. I did some research on the web site was was amazed how quickly we got a call back from the dealership inviting us to come in for a test drive on 4/11. Upon arrival, we were met by Brittany Cimino who made us feel welcome and at ease from the moment we sat down. We made it clear that we needed time to carefully consider if a Subaru was the best option for us. She was wonderful. Brittany showed us a number of different styles and colors and after our test drive we settled on 2015 Subaru Forester but could not decide on a color. There were 2 on the lot we liked and we said we needed a day or so to think about which one would be best for us. Brittany was very understanding and we never felt pressured. Well we called back on Monday and selected a Steel Grey 2.5i Premium model. Our delivery was scheduled for Tuesday 4/14. Upon arrival we were once again met by Brittney who took us through a detailed overview of the features of the car before turning us over to Jeff Irzky in the Finance Department to complete the rest of our paperwork. Jeff did a great job clearly explaining all of the forms we needed to sign to complete our purchase. He also presented a number of after sale options but at no time did he pressure us. In the end we decided to add an extended warranty that provided great value for us. As we got ready to leave the dealership with our new car, Sales Manager Will Petrillo stopped over to shake our hands and welcome us to the Premier Subaru family. We were blown away. The entire team at Premier was wonderful and we look forward to being a loyal customer with them for many years to come.

Finding a car in a short amount of time


I was in the market for a car after I totaled mine two days before my birthday. After almost two weeks of back and forth to different dealerships, I finally found Premier Subaru. I had an amazing experience at the Subaru in Branford. I knew what I wanted and they made it happen very quickly.
I walked in and had a "no-pressure" experience with a test drive just to make sure I really wanted the Crosstrek. Tony Gagnon, the sales associate, gave me all the information that I needed to know about my next car. I exchanged a few painless emails with Tony over the next few days and set up an appointment to crunch the numbers. There was no haggling and they gave me a deal that I couldn't turn down. It would have been silly not to do the deal. Amazing Car Buying Experience

This is awesome


Brian and Scott were great. I was getting inpatient waiting for snow tire change over and alignment. But the service team was great. At the same time I was at Premier, my wife was at Town Fair having the same service performed on an older car. When we picked up the older car, all 4 tires were at different pressures, one as low a 8 lbs. Lucky they didn't ruin anything. The point being is that your team is professional and gets the job done. Sometimes you have to wait to get to get a professional job dome right. Kudos to your team.

Tony asked me a few questions about what I was looking for and then only showed me cars that fit that description. I appreciated not being shown cars that I did not want. He was not pushy, but was honest about inventory and future inventory. Customize your KIA!


I arrived to this dealership not sure if I wanted the pre-owned Kia Optima Hybrid I saw on-line, but Nathan immediately welcomed me and listened to my wishes and concerns with genuine care. We took the Hybrid for a ride, and while I loved the drive itself, I wasn't in love with the interior. "You know we can change this into anything you want?" he remarked. "Leather? sure! Two-tone? Absolutely!" When I realized that I could get exactly the style I wanted, make this used car truly mine, save a bundle of money, and that Nathan was going to bend over backwards to take care of me ("I could even have it done for you tomorrow!)" - I was sold. Best Car Buying Experience Ever


I had 4 cars in mind prior to going to Premier. I had gone to 3 other dealerships and was disappointed in the vehicles themselves or the salesperson who was working with me. I decided to go online with my Associate Discount center (available by my place of employment). I was able to input the vehicle I was looking for and the price. Premier was one of the options I printed. Within minutes, I received a call from a friendly associate from Premier to set up an appointment. I showed up on time, was greeted by a friendly receptionist. I will have to say, my experience buying vehicles in the past had not been pleasant. I was nervous. I waited less than 5 minutes, when Brittany Cimino introduced herself. I was totally at ease, I showed her my "True Car" paperwork, told her I would like a test drive, and we were on our way. I never felt pressured, she answered all my questions, the Manager was wonderful. As soon as I test drove my Subaru Forester, I was sold. Brittany had addressed all my expectations and concerns. We then sat with Jeff Irzyk, who collected my information we were in agreement with what my financing would be and what options I could make a final decision when I picked up my new Forester. The day I picked up my Subaru, Brittany greeted us, we turned in the keys to our trade-in and we were on our way to see Jeff Irzyk to finish our paperwork. He went over all the options again. Never feeling any pressure. He explained everything thoroughly. No Suprises! which has happened in the past. I drove away in less than 1 hour. What could be better than that. I have had my car a few weeks now and love it. I even received a follow-up call from the dealership last night, just to check the status of my new vehicle and if everything was going ok. I was totally impressed with my entire car buying experience. I would recommend Premier to anyone who will be looking for a new car!

This is how car buying should work.


It had been about ten years since I last bought a car (2005 was the last time I went through the experience), so I had memories of the old way of doing things: haggling with slick liars who always had to say "let me talk to my manager" over and over, opaque pricing information and the sinking feeling of buyer's remorse after the transaction closed. I was pleasantly surprised at how things have progressed since then. While I'm sure there are still dealerships out there with the old way of doing things, Premier Subaru is clearly part of the future and better way: clear pricing, simplified negotiations (without pressure tactics and other chicanery) and I have absolutely no reservations now that I've been driving the car for a couple of months. Tony was great to work with - the right mix of knowledge, patience and passion about Subaru cars that convinced me he was being honest. Jeff was incredibly efficient regarding the paperwork prior to closing the deal. Once the vehicle was ready, Rodney made the closing process, dare I say it, fun. The entire process - from initial contact to the moment I drove away with my new car - took less than half the time versus what I went through in 2005. I value my time, and it's clear Premier does as well. Honesty, efficiency, fair dealing - I'm not sure exactly how much more is necessary to make a good car buying experience. (Free wifi in the showroom, maybe? Oh wait - they had that as well.) The product is great - I'd definitely buy another Outback. Should that need arise, Premier will be the only place I need to go.

Who knew it could be so easy and relaxing!


From the first second we walked in, it was smooth sailing. Had called before making the long drive from Windsor,Ct. When we arrived everything was ready. Car was warming up for test drive . I wanted to take a moment to write you regarding one of your employees, Kimberly Seabrook. I've been a customer of Colonial Toyota for many, many years. Always happy there but am interested in moving from a sedan to an AWD SUV. The Forester edged out the Rav4 in my opinion. I went through the Costco Auto Program and was quickly contacted by Kimberly. I had many questions and wanted much information. Kimberly was courteous, professional, knowledgable and most important, friendly and helpful. She replied to my e-mails in timely fashion exceeding my expectations. We got all the way down to my needing to come to Premier for a Forester Premium test drive and the all important appraisal of my Toyota trade. I was going to come this Saturday but Kimberly told me that appointments are not realistically possible on Saturdays as the dealership is just so busy. I did not have a lot of time to spend there waiting this Saturday as I have a very unexpected surgery Monday morning and need Saturday and  Sunday to tie up loose ends. That said, I had to put this Forester purchase with you on hold for a while. Time this Saturday is precious to me thus the appointment need. If I get the right price for my like new Camry, the Forester Premium purchase would be about done. All the above aside, while the deal had to be put on hold, I feel Kimberly should be made an example of, a great one! She went out of her way every step of the way to help me. So much so that she may have played a huge role in converting a loyal Toyota customer to a Subaru customer. I've spent 25 years in banking  management, most all of it dealing with the public and I know how tough that arena can be. Excellent experience buying a new Forester


I could not have asked for anything to be done any better. I started shopping online and corresponded with Kimberly about what I was looking for in the new car. She emailed back with a car that had all of the options I wanted and she quoted an excellent price. It was nice going to the dealership a few days later knowing exactly what the car was going to cost. We met with Adam and took a test drive. He worked with us on the trade in and we bought the car a few days later. For the financing, we met with Rodney. He explained everything clearly and the paperwork was well organized and completed quickly. Adam did a great job explaining the features and demonstrated all of the functions of the navigation, radio and bluetooth connectivity.
There was absolutely no pressure involved in any step in the process. There was no pressure to come in to the dealership, no pressure to make the purchase and no pressure to add any additional coverages once we agreed to the purchase. It was considerably different from most other vehicle purchases we have made.
In summary, the overall experience was excellent (as is the new Forester).

Perfect Car Buying Experience


My first time buying a car from a dealer went perfectly. Andre was friendly, knowledgeable and informative without being at all pushy, and Kenny was extremely helpful. I bought a WRX from Tony.  I made the trek all the way from new hampshire after finding the car online.  He was very knowledgeable and even had a similar model himself.  It was a very relaxed setting and I didnt feel pressured at all.  It was well worth the drive!!!

Wonderful Dealership!!


We just purchased a 2015 Subaru Outback from Premier and as much as a headache it is to go through the process of buying a new vehicle, the folks at Premier made it such an easy process. Seamless and Comfortable


I did my homework with not only the type of car I wanted but also the people I wanted to buy from. Living in southern connecticut I had plenty of opportunity to make a purchase down here but after the proper due diligence I found the best place for me. Ted Astarita and Rich Johnson worked with me and my personal team off the bat to make sure I was comfortable and well informed the entire time. Being a large purchase I included some family members in the decision making process every step of the way. At other dealerships there was not the friendly and at home vibe that we got from Premier, and while this was a highly analytical decision, I also had an emotional buying motive by being shown the proper respect and transparency. Ted was extremely knowledgable and helpful and Rich and Bob Alvine were in touch with us as well to make sure everything moved swimmingly. Being in sales myself it's great to know that what you do is actually appreciated and that is why it's so important that I let others know how great of a dealership and team Premier is.

2015 Forester


Just purchased our second Subaru from Ted Astarita and the Premier Team. Ted is fantastic to work with. Very knowledgeable about the products. I do not enjoy buying cars, however, Ted makes car buying less stressful. We closed with Jeff -- very polite and professional.
We are happy with both of our Subarus.
We have had our first Subaru over a year now and have had it serviced a few times. The Premier Subaru Service Department Staff is fantastic. They do excellent work.

New Car


I recently bought a new car at Premier Subaru in Branford, and I worked with Mark Gennette. He was very easy going and helpful. He made sure I got the car I wanted, and was very informative during the process. He made it extremely easy for me (he did a lot of work on his own), and got the car ready for me in just a couple days. Well worth the trip


Have been to many other Subaru dealerships (have had several Subarus) and live quite a distance from Branford; however, it was well worth the two trips (first to test drive and then to pick up our new Forester) because Ted was efficient, pleasant, never pushy, and worked hard to make it as easy a process as possible. Premier Subaru Sets The Bar For Automobile Dealerships!!


I'm from Vermont and traveled to Premier Subaru based on their outstanding reputation. I wasn't disappointed as they greatly exceeded my expectations. I had a high mileage Subaru that I owed more on than was worth...I met with salesman Herman Winston who listened intently as I explained my situation and he found the perfect fit for my requirements, a slightly owned 2015 Subaru Forester with just 8000 miles on it.. Jeff Irzyk took over and in spite of my upside down financial position on my existing vehicle, matched me up with a lender to finish up the deal. During the registration process a Vermont official made a typographical error on one of the forms that caused my registration process to stall just days before my temporary registration was set to expire. At this point with my stress level rising I spoke to Sales Mgr Will Petrillo who immediately assured me not to lose my confidence, that they would come up with a solution. Sure enough, the next day General Sales Mgr Rich Johnson's over the top actions resolved the problem completely at Premiers expense even though it was no fault of the dealership at all. In this day and age, it is truly refreshing to find a company so focused on total customer satisfaction. I would strongly recommend Premier Subaru to anyone!!!

First New Car


Just purchased a new 2015 WRX from the team at Premier Subaru. After originally going in while a friend was shopping, I felt it was time for be a Subaru owner. I was working with a very short timeline however; about a month. Tony Gagnon understood this and was very proactive at getting me the car that I wanted without me having to pay for tons of extras that I did not want or need. Other dealers would say " sure, we can get you one, no problem." What made my Premier experience great was that I was shown window sticker of the available cars that they could get their hands on for me. This made all the difference, especially with finances! From the no-nonsense sales pitch while test-driving to the final handshake prior to driving it off the lot, I would trust Tony Gagnon and his team again without second thought.

Excellent Stress Free Car Buying


I went to Premier on a recommendation from a friend who bought there. I checked out the website and ended up connecting with Kim from internet sales at the Branford dealership. Kim was very pleasant and knowledgeable! She found me the vehicle with the features I wanted at a great price! When I explained I lived in Woodbury she even contacted Carmine the manager at Premier in Watertown so I could make my purchase close to home! Carmine, Mike and Sherry took care of me today. Great car buying experience


This was the dealer I ended up getting my first Subaru from. I had a very good idea of what car I wanted, but still wanted to compare a few different ones. My salesperson, Adam, was very friendly, informative and patient. I ended up test driving several cars, and even took the same car out twice so I could be sure it was what I wanted. I never felt pressured and ended up buying my Legacy and taking delivery all in the same day. I was even taken on a tour of the dealership, introducing me to the service dept and showing me the service bays. The sales floor is very comfortable and inviting, feeling like you are in a friend's living room. Even the other customers were friendly. There was even a cozy little corner with a TV and some toys, which helped my brother keep my niece and nephew occupied while I finished completing paperwork with Jeff, who was also pleasant to deal with. Though it may sound like a broken record, yes I would definitely recommend Premier.

Completely worth crossing the Q bridge for this experience!


Traded in a 2011 Kia Soul (which I LOVED) and bought a brand new 2015 Kia Sorento from Premier - We couldn't be happier! The second my husband and I walked into the dealership, we got a good vibe. Everyone was extremely friendly. We ended up working with Mitch & Patrick. We were thrilled with them, really nice knowledgeable guys and they actually LISTENED to us. That was a big deal as we have had some dissapointing experiences with other dealerships in the past. We told them exactly what we were looking for and that is exactly what we left with. Yes, of course they gave us all the options and suggested deals and features (we were REALLY surprised to hear that the 2016's were already on the lot!) That is their job, they did it well and at no point did we feel pressured. Patrick helped us get a great deal. I know the money stuff can be stressful, but he sure did work with us to get us where we needed to be, went above an beyond. One of the easiest and least stressful car buying experiences ever.
I also want to mention that we had a remote car starter installed, it was on back order so we had to come back the following week for installation. Jamie in the service department was really very nice and helped to make the entire process painless. Mitch arranged for us to have use of a loaner car and that made things so easy. Once the starter was installed Andre was so nice and brave and stood outside with us in freezing weather to show us how to use it. I just really like how everyone in service and sales work together as a team.
We have a Kia dealership about 8 minutes from our home. We chose Premier because we were dissapointed with the sales dept at that particular dealership. Premier is almost 40 minutes from our home. I was worried that it would be too inconvenient of a drive to have service done, but after our experience I am happy to cross the bridge to see our friends at Premier. Thanks!
