Premier at Branford Jazz Series
 
The Premier team has enjoyed attending the Branford Jazz on the Green Series this summer. Every year you will see both Premier Subaru and Premier Kia on the Green every Thursday of the summer. Don't hesitate to stop by  our table, talk to the Premier team and check out our cars that we showcase for the night. We enjoy participating in various local events in the Branford community. 
Subaru STARLINK

The 2016 Subaru models introduce the new STARLINK technology. STARLINK provides entertainment, safety services and hands-free control. Subaru offers two STARLINK packages. The Starlink Safety Plus package includes automatic collision notification, SOS emergency assistance, enhanced roadside assistance, maintenance notifications, monthly reports and diagnostic alerts. A free one-year subscription comes with the purchase of a new vehicle. After the first year, a two-year subscription is $99. The Starlink Safety Plus and Security Package includes stolen vehicle recovery service, vehicle security alarm notification, remote lock/unlock, remote horn and lights and remote vehicle locator. For the first year, Safety Plus & Security Plus Package can be added for $49. A two-year subscription is $149 and includes the cost of the Safety Plus subscription.
 
 Kia Receives AutoPacific Award  

Recently, four Kia vehicles received winning titles for the 2015 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA). The K900 received two awards, the AutoPacific President's award for the all-time highest vehicle satisfaction and the AutoPacific Best in Class Vehicle Satisfaction in the Luxury car category. This year is actually the third year that the President's Award has been awarded in the history of 19 years of the VSAs. Besides the K900, Kia won awards for the Cadenza, Soul and Sportage in their respective categories, Large Car, Compact Car, Compact Crossover SUV. This year Kia won more awards than any other brand. 

Kia Kinetic Motorsports Brand 

 
Recently, Premier Kia introduced the Kinetic Motorsports brand. Premier has a Kinetic Soul and a Kinetic Optima,  which both feature the special Kinetic decals along the outside of the vehicles, rims, spoilers and oil cap.

According to www.kssmotorsports.com, Kia's official Kinetic Motorsports brand is the official Kia Race team,"Based outside Atlanta in Buford, Georgia, Kinetic Motorsports was established as a full service race and prep shop for Porsche race cars and customer's street rides. Success on the track in the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup resulted in a switch to campaigning BMWs in the Grand-American Road Racing, Continental Tire Series. In late 2009, Kia Motors America asked Kinetic to set up a program to campaign the new Kia Forte Koup. As the first- and still only- Kia race team i
n the world, Kinetic Motorsports designed, built and raced two cars for the Continental Tire Series ST class in 2010-2012. In addition to a number of trips to the podium, Kinetic won a Driver's and Team Championship for Kia in our second season."

Before coming to Premier Kia, my wife and me went to the Premier Kia website to look at a couple of cars. Eventually, we saw a 2009 Nissan Versa that caught our eye - we saw this car a few days before.  Our salesman, Nathan, approached us in the used side and steered us toward the Versa.
